| A group of buildings built in 1725 by the foot of the New Fort as stables for the horses of Venetian officers. One of these, the celebrated lover Casanova stationed in Corfu in 1748 described these stables in his autobiography. Totally transformed in 2004 to designs by Marilena Koskina and Silvia Sgouropoulou rightly recognised as Corfu's leading interior consultants, it is now a truly exciting array of bars on different levels filled mainly with the younger echelons of Corfiot society. |
