| This little piece of Italy is almost impossible to find but it is well worth the effort. A restaurant providing super Italian cuisine is owned and operated by Patrizio Tondi, a great character who came to Corfu from Naples 20 years ago and, after running the islands largest nightclub/disco for most of that time, opened Il Vesuvio in the village of Potamos just to the north of Corfu Town effectively as a hobby and because it still gives him pleasure seeing his customers enjoying dishes from his unique Neopolitan wood ovens. |
